Frangipani Cottage is a gracious old colonial providing fully self-contained, up-market executive accommodation for you and the family pet.
Set on a large and level corner block it was designed to take advantage of the prevailing breezes and views of the mountains with its northerly aspect.
It is painted throughout in cool, light colours and the walls hung with paintings and prints. The decor is stylish with many personal touches and the furniture has been chosen with comfort in mind.
The Cottage is conveniently close to all amenities and is within walking distance of the local shopping center, restaurants and transport. Beautiful Queen's Park is only a few minutes drive away while Ipswich General Hospital and St Andrew's Private Hospital are four kilometers away.
This spacious home offers three bedrooms and a fully equipped generously sized country style kitchen with built in laundry. There is reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout the formal lounge, dining & family rooms plus the kitchen. Master has air-conditioning and a ceiling fan, second bedroom has a ceiling fan and the third bedroom has a stand alone fan with wrap around windows to maximize the breezes.
The main bathroom offers the choice of a full size bath or shower and the three bedrooms all have double beds. There is a choice of living areas with formal lounge and family room plus a sunroom with a day bed which can be used as an extra bed.
If you enjoy occasional outdoor dining, the veranda is a lovely leafy spot where you can soak up the mountain views and pretty garden setting.
There is also a generous sized carport with space for several more cars surrounding it.

The "Love Shack" on Russell Island Russell Island Brand New 2 Bedroom (sleeps 8 at a push) Cedar Cottage for Holiday Letting on Russell Island. The house is a fully functional home away from home with TV, DVD, CD, Surround Sound, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Ceramic Cook Top, Under Bench Oven and reverse cycle Airconditioning. The master bedroom is set up for the romantic evening with that special someone, featuring a queen sized bed and flowing canapy overhead. The second bedroom is equipped with two sets of bunks (double on the bottom and single on the top). A washing machine and clothes line are provided for your convenience. Food is not supplied, however there is a local FoodWorks on the Island for your everyday needs. The Island also boasts and a small cafe, where the coffee is hot and the food pretty good, you can enjoy it while overlooking the bay. There are also two clubs with courtesy buses available so you can enjoy an evening meal and a couple of drinks. The home is positioned in a bush setting (nice and quiet) with bird life galore. 12 resident Kookaburra's frequent the trees in the neighbouring bush. Kurloo's scurry about in the evening and you will regularly see Kites flying overhead. The birdlife on Russell is amazing, with swamp hens pecking on the side of the main road, ducks, lorikeets and galahs all sharing food at the local real estate office. Two resident pelicans frequent the main jetty on dusk most evenings and a large colony of black swans live in the first bay past the jetty. More... |
